Happy 4th!
Go out tonight and enjoy some fireworks for me, since there is a statewide ban of all fireworks in my state. Nothing that lights on fire is permitted over the border of Mordor.
Lincoln City Kite Festival
So I was watching Rock Center last night (an excellent program mostly because Brian Williams’ timing and delivery is impeccable) and they did a segment about the Summer Kite Festival held in Lincoln City, Oregon every summer (unfortunately, you Oregonians just missed it), which showcases some of the biggest, most mind-blowingly awesome kites I’ve ever seen… way cooler than my Ghostbusters one I had as a wee lad that ended up on my neighbor’s roof for the remainder of its existence.
